Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

If you love all things racing, you’ll want to visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum to view all of the impressive and important collections of racing vehicles, trophies and memorabilia. The Museum is actually recognized as one of the most visible in the world that is dedicated to auto racing and automobiles. They’re open all year except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day so it’s easy to plan a convenient visit at any time. Museum members enjoy free admission while adults pay $15, youth pay $8 and kids 5 and under get in free.

Victory Field

In White River State Park, on the west side of downtown Indianapolis you’ll find the minor league ballpark, Victory Field. Home to the Indianapolis Indians, you’ll be sure to want to visit, even if it’s off-season. The construction of the ballpark cost $18 million, financed by public and private funds. The groundbreaking was done in December of 1994. It covers 14 acres of land and seats 14,200 visitors. You can watch a ballgame or rent the venue for your own event. The stadium has 7 daily suites that are suitable for 15 to more than 100 guests. The views from the Victory Field suites are quite spectacular as well. In addition to suite the stadium offers party terraces or decks as well.

This Indianapolis arena is a favorite to all who visit. You can catch a variety of events here so there’s bound to be something for all tastes. Previously known for the past 10 years as Bankers Life Fieldhouse, opened in 1999 and is the best place to watch an NBA basketball game. The Fieldhouse offers 500 live performances, conventions, games, and concerts every year. Such events include ice skating performances, Big Ten Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournaments, rodeos and more.

Indiana State Capitol

The Indiana State Capitol is open for daily Statehouse Tours and School Tours. Touring the Capitol you’ll learn more about all three branches of government, as well as the history and architecture of the building. Their website has a self-guided tour brochure available as well. Indiana is one of the few states that has all 3 branches of government operating out of the Capitol building. Plans for the existing state house began in 1867 and construction was complete in 1888. Indiana white oak and limestone make up the structure, featuring an original German-glass stained glass rotunda window.

Indy Racing Experience

Have you always wanted to know what it’s like to drive a real NTT IndyCar Series car? Now you could actually find out! The Indy Racing Experience is preferred for thrill-seekers and race fans that love these machines and speeding. You could ride and drive and make a unique, memorable moment to cherish always. Their experiences include riding two to four laps at speeds of 180 mph. Want to go with a group of people? They also offer group experiences for parties of 30 people or more. This type of experience will cost you around $500 or more, depending on the experience you choose. The Indy Racing Experience would be a great gift also, for any die-hard race fans in your life.

Scottish Rite Cathedral

Peyton Manning Statue

The Peyton Manning Statue is located outside of Lucas Oil Stadium

It was unveiled in October 0f 2017.  Peyton Manning helped the Indianapolis Colts become a respectable franchise that went to two Superbowls and one won.  Peyton Manning was one of the all time great quarterback and is ranked among many as a top 5 quarterback.

Indiana Farmers Coliseum

The Indiana Farmers Coliseum is a great place for events and has seen many different things happen in its time. From concerts by big name artists like Nelly or LOCASH, sports such as basketball games between IUPUI Jaguars college team versus Greensboro College pigskinrolls wildest Rebel Writers Alive yet! And it’s not just athletes who use this venue: we’ve also hosted birthday parties here with 20+ kids playing together on one court while parents watch from afar.

Indianapolis Union Railroad Station

Indianapolis Union Station is a historic train station in the heart of Indy. It’s served by three different Amtrak lines, which pass through this incredible building twice per week! The first place ever created with one united station was here back at 1848

The Indianapolis UStation opened its doors as America’s very first intercity hub for rail travel- and it still serves up some pretty great scenery while you’re waiting or riding across town
